The Worst Road in Scotland?
Who can deny this is the worst road in Scotland?
This is the main access road to Dunure from the south.
It takes the driver past some of the best views across the bay to Culzean.Woe betide any driver who takes their eyes off the road for a fraction of a second though – the state of the road requires full attention!

This has been an ongoing problem for years.
It has been discussed at Community Council multiple times – click on the tag cloud to see when.

It was discussed again at the December Community Council meeting.
Ayrshire Roads Alliance had been invited to attend the meeting.
Ayrshire Roads Alliance failed to provide a representative.Provost Campbell undertook to ensure they attend the next meeting of the Community Council.
If you agree that this is an urgent issue requiring our support, please make sure you attend the next meeting of the Community Council and make your views known to Ayrshire Roads Alliance.
The next Community Council meeting is on Tuesday 20th January at 7:00 in the Kennedy Hall.

Community Council Website
At the end of the meeting of 21st October –
– a question was asked about the Community Council website, with members of the current Community Council seeming unaware of the site.
This is a link to the Community Council Website in its current form.
The URL is https://dunure322579784.wordpress.com/about-dunure/.
This was discussed in the meeting of April this year, at which it was claimed that a website was in final draft form.
I’ve not chosen to put this on the front page of the site. It is my policy to put up only positive items to the public area.
This website is committed to open discussion of issues relevant to Dunure and Fisherton, and will publish items expressing opposing points of view as long as they are supported by logical arguments or published documents.
I repeat my offer to host announcements and minutes of the Community Council, Dynamic Dunure, the Harbour Committee or any other community groups.
Members of the community can then use the site’s tag cloud to access items of interest to them.

Dynamic Dunure AGM
The AGM for Dynamic Dunure is to be held on Tuesday 1st July at 7:00 in the Kennedy Hall.
This will follow immediately on from the Hall and Park Special Meeting which starts at 6:30.
