We gave the Community Council a copy of our analysis of Dynamic Dunure’s plan for the Heritage Centre.
We want open and informed debate on the proposal.
The village groups Dynamic Dunure claim to represent should have the chance to talk about Dynamic Dunure’s proposals. All of the people of Dunure should be able to discuss the plan’s good and bad points, tp see and share the views of others.
None of that is happening just now.
Dynamic Dunure cannot be a closed group and claim to be our representatives. This post asks why it’s so difficult to get any information out of them.

There have been significant changes in the proposal for a community centre since it was first suggested. It’s much more ambitious, much more expensive. We need to decide as a village if it’s a realistic way to develop Dunure’s potential.
We already have support from the National Lottery Heritage Fund for reports on the repairs to the harbour. Before we ask them for an extra £1.5 million for the ‘Heritage Centre’ we have to be sure it’s what the village wants.
An email has been sent to Dynamic Dunure, inviting them to respond.
We have also emailed Councillors who have taken an interest in the plans for Dunure, again inviting comments.
